Pumpkin Patch is in Full Swing!

It’s that time of year and we are in full swing with our annual Pumpkin Patch fundraiser!

This year we are doing our scheduling through an online website and mobile app!  It’s easy to use, you can claim open shifts and you can request to swap your shift and it’s all handled through emails and text messages from the app.

Remember though, it is still your responsibility to find someone to take your shift if you can’t make it. So just requesting a swap on the app may not be enough.  You have to keep your eye on it and make sure someone takes it.  You may have to reach out to someone personally to get it filled.  If something happens and you’re going to be late, you need to contact the caller for the week or the team leader.

If you’re having a problem with the scheduling program, please contact either:

Weekly Update 9/26

Dear Parents and Students,

ONE-TEN-LOGO-2intallREMEMBER! Tomorrow at 8am is our first Pumpkin Truck unloading of the season. Please be there to unload the truck at 8am. Come out and help and get double hours! Remember to wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and closed toe shoes.

If you need a pumpkin patch shirt for a shift you can get them tomorrow. Bring $10 for a shirt.

You may have already noticed that we are working on renaming the youth group. After getting input and a vote on design we have landed on calling ourselves One10Youth. The name is based on Galatians 1:10 which basically says We do not seek approval from man, but only the approval of God. We are excited about the change. Our website address is changing to one10youth.com . In the coming weeks you will see some changes upstairs as well as an app for your phones. I am excited about some of the coming things. God is good!

If you have any questions, please contact Burt or myself.

Your Servant in Christ,
Chad Deetz
